Laila tul Qadar is not only in 27 Ramdan

Lailatul Qadr is not on 27th Ramadan Only

Lailatul Qadr is that blessed night in which ALLAH swt decides the matters of everything for the next year. The term “qadar” means decree or fate which is also called qismat. Hence the night of decree is none other than lailatul qadar which has also termed as lailatul mubarika in surah dukhan.

The significance of this blessed night cannot be covered in the words because ALLAH swt Himself says “wa ma adraka ma lailatul qadar : and what do you know what laila tul qadar is”. This verse means that no matter how much we say we cannot encapsulate the immense significance of this night.

There are various ahadtih regarding this blessed night  we will first see few of them and then will continue with the article.

Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle said, "Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten days oframadan." (Bukhari - Book #32, Hadith #234)

he Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: “Laylatul Qadr has been bestowed by Allah to my Ummah (People). It was not given to any people before this.” (Dur-Mansoor).

Hazrath Aisha (Radhiallaahu Anha) reported that the Apostle of Allah said: “Search for the Blessed Night in the odd(nights) from the last ten (nights) of Ramadhaan” (Bukhari)

Hazrath Aisha has narrated another saying:
“I asked: O Messenger of Allah! Tell me if I were to find a Night of Power, what should I recite therein?” Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) advised her to recite:

Al-laa-hum-ma in-na-ka ‘afoow-wan tu-hib-bul-’af wa fa-fu ‘an-ni.
O Allah! You are Forgiving, You love forgiveness, so forgive me. (Bukhari).

Seek it in Ramadan in the last ten nights. For verily, it is during the odd nights, the twenty-first, or the twenty-third, or the twenty-fifth, or the twenty-seventh, or the twenty-ninth, or during the last night." Sahih Hadith Ahmad 5:318.

Whoever stays up (in prayer and remembrance of Allah) on the Night of Qadr fully believing (in Allah’s promise ofreward for that night) and hoping to seek reward (from Allah alone and not from people), he shall be forgiven for his past sins.” Sahih Hadith Bukhari / Muslim.

Thus, from the above mentioned ahadith, we can say confidently that this night comes in the last ten days of Ramadan and in the odd nights only. One of the odd night will be this blessed night. Which night is it, we are not told we are only told to find it.

On 27th Ramadan, the Quran was completed while in the blessed night of lailatul qadar, Quran was started reveling thus it is a different night from 27th and has a different meaning. Obviously, when Quran started to revel it was a decision of ALLAH swt to change the fate of those who were looking for salvation and to change the fate of those who were the earth’s gods. Thus lailatul qadar is not know it is to be found in the last five odd nights of Ramadan i.e. 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th and 29th
